Short Bio

Nicholas Mamakos has 20 years of experience in financial services (KPMG, Lehman Brothers, and other blue chips) and investment management. He launched the firm in 2011 with a singular vision towards institutional investment management on a global scale.  Prior to SilentSeas, he founded and managed a private equity business that sponsored investments of circa $200 million in the Southern Mediterranean region of Europe.

Mr. Mamakos has direct experience in investments across multiple sectors and jurisdictions, technology venture capital, and merchant banking. His approach to investment strategy development, due diligence, investment execution, and organizational development has resulted in the SilentSeas investment platform and trading operation.

Mr. Mamakos also holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, an MA (Oxon) from University of Oxford, and an MBA from the SAID Business School at the University of Oxford.
